We produced the full video in-house at Reedbay Studio, creating all illustrations, assets, and 2D animations from scratch. The project required a cohesive visual style that clearly communicates the concept of a Forest Wind Farm (Windbos) and its role in supporting sustainable development in Overijssel.

The result is a dynamic animated video that explains how more than 1 million people live within just 3,500 square kilometers in Overijssel, and why land-use decisions must be made thoughtfully. The video shows how energy transition, nature, housing, work, and recreation all compete for the same limited space. It introduces Windbos as a solution that combines renewable energy production with the expansion of forests, creating new opportunities for recreation and biodiversity while supporting climate goals for 2050. Through clear visuals and engaging storytelling, the video demonstrates how Windbos can help achieve a sustainable future and reduce climate change.
